As of 5p.m. on Monday August 10,2009 the Phillies have placed Jamie Moyer in the bullpen.  The move allows the Phillies to put Pedro Martinez in the rotation as the 5th starter.  Moyer who’s ERA is almost 6 is having a horrible season, and I think the Phillies finally realised that they made a mistake in the off-season signing him to a 2 year deal worth 8 million per year.  Something had to be done about Moyers bad year, and as of right now I feel as though this is the right way to go about it.  Pedro Marinez will get his first chance to prove he can still be a productive starter in the majors on Wednesday when the Phil’s rap up their series in Chicago with the Cubs.
