Excuses usually sound something like “The dog ate my homework” or “I didn’t know it was a banned substance.” However recently French Tennis Pro Richard Gasquet covinced the International Tennis Tribunal Panel that he tested positive for cocaine as a result of ingesting the drug via a kiss with a girl he barely knew at a night club. Relinguishing the 2 1/2 year ban, the panel explained the reasoning to be that Gasquet is a “shy and reserved person with integrity and exceptional character.” Now this is all well and good, but then theres this:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now look I’m not saying that this dude isn’t a good guy, but shy? reserved? integrity? If this is the case I suggest Barry Bonds (when found guilty of steroid use) should just say his wife accdiently crushed it up in his peanut butter and jelly every day for lunch. Better yet Rafael Palmero could argue that the there was an illegal substance with which his favorite mustache comb was manufactured. I’ll leave it up to you guys to make judgement on whether this guy really is innocent, or is he really doing cocaine with these prostitues at parties, while professional tennis plays cover up to avoid becoming steroid ridden like MLB.
